Adra-e: Regional ecosystem event

CroAI recently hosted the Regional Ecosystem Event at Studio Katran, bringing together experts, entrepreneurs, and innovators to discuss the future of AI and technology in the CEE region. This event was part of the ADRA-e project, in which CroAI is a partner, aiming to foster collaboration and innovation in AI, Data, and Robotics across Europe.


The event featured key discussions on the AI landscape in Croatia, Slovenia, and Serbia, with insights on funding, regulations, and the role of ecosystems in driving innovation. Notable speakers included:

  • Ana Marija K. (Editor-in-Chief, The Recursive) on the "State of AI in Central & Eastern Europe."

  • Martina Silov (President, CroAI), Mitja Trampuz (President, ai4si), and Boban Poznanović (Chairperson, Serbian AI Society) in a panel discussing the AI response in ExYu countries.

  • Vedran B. (South Central Ventures) and Renata Brkic (Feelsgood) on the VC ecosystem and funding.

  • Matija Srbic (Nuqleus), Drazen Orescanin (BIRD Incubator), and Marijana Sarolic Robic (CRO STARTUP) on the importance of ecosystems for innovation.

  • Marija Boskovic Batarelo (Parser Compliance), Vlaho Hrdalo (Hrdalo & Krnic Law Firm), and Stefan Martinić (Law Office Stefan Martinić) on the impact of EU regulations.


The event emphasized the importance of collaboration and community building for fostering innovation in the region.


ADRA-e, an initiative focused on advancing the European AI, Data, and Robotics ecosystem, aims to drive smart, sustainable growth and innovation across the continent. As a key partner in this project, CroAI plays a crucial role in supporting regional collaboration and enhancing AI capabilities in the region.
