On October 16th, the CroAI Meetup in Zagreb brought together experts to discuss Croatia’s growing cyber threats. With recent attacks targeting KBC Zagreb, HZZO, and Badel 1862, the need for a robust cybersecurity strategy has never been more urgent. But can artificial intelligence (AI) help protect our digital systems?
Our panel of experts shared diverse perspectives on the topic. Bojan Alikavazović from Infigo IS emphasized the importance of human expertise in guiding AI’s role in cybersecurity. Tomislav Vazdar from Riskoria Advising & Professional Services discussed AI’s potential to strengthen defenses while also acknowledging the new challenges it can create. Damir Pavušin, Regional Executive at Axians, offered a European perspective on how AI could reshape our approach to security across the continent.
The discussion was moderated by Marko Gulan, whose insights set the stage for AI2FUTURE, exploring ideas on how we can prepare for the digital future.
For those who couldn’t join, the session recording will be available on CroAI YouTube channel, thanks to Podcast Studio Hrvatska.
