CroAI's "AI se educiraj" sessions in Karlovac and Bjelovar drew over 340 participants on October 22nd and 24th, combining in-person and online audiences. Held at the Nikola Tesla Experience Center in Karlovac and the Technical College in Bjelovar, the education offered insights into artificial intelligence and its role in modern education.
In Karlovac, County Prefect Martina Furdek-Hajdin and Luka Bogdan from the National Foundation for Civil Society Development opened the session. Damir Pavušin, regional director at Axians and CroAI board member, presented real-life applications of AI in the classroom.
In Bjelovar, Ive Botunac, R&D Director at Alfatec and a PhD candidate, discussed AI’s potential for personalized learning and the ethical aspects of its use in education. The session saw additional support from Dean Tatjana Badrov, who joined attendees to engage with the topic.
This educations were part of the Thematic Systemic Support provided by the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, under the thematic area "Artificial Intelligence and Social Development."
